Swedish Massage Training

Learn the foundations of professional Swedish Massage in a calm, supportive and personalised environment.
This accredited training course is ideal for beginners starting their holistic journey, or therapists wishing to expand their existing skills.
Training is delivered in a relaxed private setting in Derbyshire with a strong focus on confidence, practical experience, client care and professional standards.

Training days run approximately 10am–3pm in a relaxed and supportive learning environment. Training is delivered in a calm and supportive 1:1 environment, with occasional shared training sessions for two students available. Two days training, half day setting up and assessment then feedback.

Entry Requirements
No previous massage experience is required. Students are advised to hold, a Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology qualification which can be completed separately through external online study providers. Don’t worry if you’re still studying your Anatomy & Physiology — you are welcome to train while working towards it.

Unlike many one-day courses, we believe one day simply isn’t enough to develop confidence or deliver a safe, effective treatment. Over two days, you’ll learn a full-body routine, correct posture, pressure control, and client care, alongside essential theory including anatomy, health & safety, and consultation skills.
You’ll leave feeling confident, competent, and fully certified with an insurable qualification, ready to begin offering treatments professionally.

**ALTERATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES**
Prices for courses at Holistic Shed with Laura are subject to change without prior notice. Laura Kirk Holistic School reserves the right to modify or discontinue any advertised courses at any time without notice. Laura Kirk Holistic School shall not be held liable to you or any third party for any modifications, price adjustments, suspensions, or discontinuations of any courses.
**CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE**
Laura Kirk Holistic School reserves the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions at our sole discretion by posting updates on our website. Please review the website periodically for any changes. Your continued use of our website or participation in our courses after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
**PAYMENT**
Full payment for training courses is required at the time of booking unless an alternative payment plan is arranged as outlined on our website. Available payment plans include Pay in 3 by PayPal and Pay in 4 by Clearpay.
**RESCHEDULING OR CANCELLING YOUR COURSE**
We understand that circumstances may arise requiring you to change or cancel your training course, and we aim to accommodate where possible. However, we cannot guarantee that changes can always be made.
All courses are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Should a course be canceled by Laura Kirk Holistic School due to unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather conditions or natural disasters, refunds will not be issued. Instead, an alternative course date will be offered at the earliest convenience.
**ATTENDANCE**
Students must attend all scheduled course dates. Failure to attend any part of the course for any reason will not qualify for a refund. Catch-up sessions may be offered at the discretion of Laura Kirk Holistic School, subject to availability.
Punctuality is expected for all course sessions and assessments. If you anticipate being late, please notify Laura Kirk Holistic School as soon as possible. We reserve the right to withhold certificates for poor attendance. Absences should be minimized, and any planned absences for personal reasons or religious holidays should be discussed and agreed upon before booking.
**GENERAL**
Students are expected to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Appropriate attire is expected but comfortable. No jeans or crop tops..
Rude or abusive behavior will not be tolerated and will result in immediate course termination without a refund. Training rooms must be kept clean and tidy. Any damages caused to Laura Kirk Holistic School property will be the student’s responsibility, and charges may apply. If necessary, authorities will be contacted. Theft is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate expulsion from all classes without a refund, with police involvement where applicable.
Students are not permitted to remove any property from the training venue without prior authorisation. If a translator is required, it is the student’s responsibility to arrange and cover any associated costs. Laura Kirk Holistic School must be notified of a translator’s attendance at the time of booking.
Personal belongings are left at the student's own risk. Laura Kirk Holistic School is not responsible for any lost or damaged items. We reserve the right to adjust course schedules, assessment dates, examination locations, course content, and fees without prior notice. Course structures may be modified to best accommodate students' learning needs.
Students who miss an assessment will not automatically be offered a new date. Any additional classes required due to poor attendance or incomplete coursework will be at the student’s expense. Laura Kirk Holistic School is not responsible for these extra costs.
Laura Kirk Holistic School holds no liability for treatments performed by students following course completion. All students should ensure they have personal and public liability insurance before using the skills acquired through our training.
